This guide will explain how to document transactions in our costume csv.

Our csv has 7 categories:

The values that you may enter to each category are as follows:

Date – dd/mm/yyyy  mm:hh:ss or mm/dd/yyyy mm:hh:ss.

Type – Buy, Sell, Deposit, Withdrawal

AssetCurrency/CoinCurrency/FeeCurrency ­– the symbol of a currency, for example:

USD, BTC, ETH, LTC…

Amount/FeeAmount – a Number, example:

Do:

Transforming your files

To fit your files to our format you will need to transform the data into 4 different categories- Buy, Sell, Deposit and Withdrawal the files should look like this:

Deposits

If you downloaded a file with deposits, each Deposit should be described in this format:

Examples

Deposit 1,234.567 BTC on the 11/30/2018

 

Deposit 9,876 BTC on the 11/28/2018

Withdrawals

If you downloaded a file with Withdrawals, each Withdrawal should be described in this format:

Examples

Withdrawal 1,234.567 ETH on the 11/30/2018 with 0.5 ETH Fee.

Withdrawal 9,876 ETH on the 11/28/2018 with 0.9 ETH Fee

Transactions

Each Transaction should be described in this format:

Crypto to Fiat – Every buy/sell should be described in 1 line.

Examples

Buy 1 BTC with USD on the 11/30/2018  at 12:00

  Sell 2 ETH to USD the 11/26/2018  at 8:00

Crypto to Crypto

Every buy/sell should be described in 2 lines. The first line will describe the asset that was exchanged, the second line will describe what was given in exchange of that asset. If there was a fee it should appear only once for every transaction.

 

Examples

 Buy 1 BTC for 36 ETH on the 11/30/2018  at 16:00 with a fee of 0.0005 BTC

Sell 1 BTC for LTC 135 11/24/2018 at 17:00 with a fee of 0.0007 BTC
